Acropolis: The acropolis of Xanthos offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and contains the ruins of various structures, including temples, houses, and fortifications.

Pillar Tombs: The site is scattered with numerous pillar tombs, which were used for the burial of important individuals in the Lycian society.

When visiting Xanthos, it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, as the site is extensive, and much of it is exposed to the sun. Information boards and signage are available throughout the site, providing historical context and explanations of the various structures.

Xanthos Ancient City is located approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) southeast of Fethiye. It can be reached by car or organized tours from Fethiye or nearby towns. Entrance fees may apply, and it's a good idea to check the opening hours and any visitor guidelines before your visit.
